Fly Pest Control

Fly pest control is one of our most requested pest control services. Fly infestations are typically difficult to deal with when using over the counter products and DIY methods. Naturally, removing a fly infestation becomes even more difficult as the size and scale of the infestation grows.

Here’s a scenario we see often – a client spots a large gathering of flies in their home, and proceeds to attempt to deal with the infestation using the usual methods: fly spray, fly paper, fly catchers etc. Despite eliminating large amounts of flies, the infestation continues to grow. That’s where our fly pest control services come in. Our team has a wealth of experience dealing with infestations of various different types of fly, and we’re confident that we can solve your fly pest issues.

Why do I have so many flies in my house?

Flies are one of the most common types of insect infestations, so it is common to suffer from an infestation at some point. Most flies enter a property through cracks in the structure or, in most cases, through open doors and windows. After this, they’ll seek sources of food and warm places in an attempt to breed. In our experience, old or rotting food can be a common reason for flies to decide to enter and breed in a property.

How do I get rid of a fly infestation in my house?

To reduce the risk of fly infestations in your home, try to adhere to the following:

  • Dispose of old food regularly (don’t leave it sitting in your bin for too long)
  • Try to dispose of adult flies early on, before they’re given chance to breed

How much does fly pest control cost?

The cost of fly pest control is rarely fixed. As you might be able to gather from reading the above, there are a number of different variables that can impact the cost of this service. They include, but are not limited to:

  • Species of fly
  • Size of infestation
  • Location of infestation
